Editor. Author. Literary Doula.

I’m Khàli LaBré, writer, editor, and founder of Lemons & Gold Publishing. I am from Orlando, Florida and currently reside in Tampa, Florida. With more than a decade of experience in professional writing and editing, I help indie authors refine their stories with clarity, care, and creative freedom.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of South Florida and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University. I also earned a Graduate Certificate in Teaching Writing Online, and I’ve spent years teaching high school English, science, and ESL. I am also a member of Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society and the Thespian Honor Society. My background blends academic training with artistic vision, allowing me to approach every manuscript with both precision and heart.

Lemons & Gold Publishing was born from my desire to give authors a space to publish on their own terms—without sacrificing luxury. My very first release, Dreams of Akasha: The Visionary Chronicles, launched in 2018 and became the foundation of everything I’ve built since. Since then, I’ve gone on to write Scribe, while also editing and publishing a range of powerful voices through my boutique services.

At Lemons & Gold, every project receives the royal treatment. Whether you need a deep developmental edit or a final proofread before launch, my goal is to make the process feel seamless, elevated, and empowering. I preserve your voice while helping your work shine in its best light.
