Lemons & Gold is an online tutoring, editing, and creative writing studio based in Florida, founded by educator, writer, and editor Khàli LaBré. The studio is built on the belief that strong communication and academic support can transform lives. Through Tutoring in the Parlour, Lemons & Gold provides personalized online ELA tutoring and STEM tutoring for students of all ages, with a focus on reading comprehension, writing skills, grammar, critical thinking, and academic confidence.
Lemons & Gold is led by an experienced online English tutor and writing instructor with a B.A. in English from the University of South Florida, an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University, and a Graduate Certificate in Teaching Writing Online from SNHU. With over seven years of teaching experience, including ESL, High School English, Biology, and Environmental Science, Khàli brings a multidisciplinary, student-centered approach to online education.
The studio offers one-on-one online tutoring, academic coaching, and writing support, as well as developmental, substantive, and proofreading editing services and creative consultation for students, professionals, and authors at every stage.
As a member of Sigma Tau Delta and the Editorial Freelancers Association, Khàli LaBré brings both academic expertise and professional editorial standards to every project. Each tutoring session and editing project is approached with care for voice, structure, and purpose—helping students strengthen their skills, improve academic performance, and turn rough drafts into refined work and challenges into something golden.
